Little Thumbs Up October 2015 : Coconut

littlethumbups1-1

Time flies, so fast it is approaching October soon, which is tomorrow lol. MIA from blogging for almost a month, I am back again for Little Thumbs Up. I guess for this year, it will still be tough for me to come back and blog regularly, hope next year will be better year for me, I pray it everyday, anyone hear my prayer? lol.

Little Thumbs Up is a cooking and baking monthly bloghop event started by Zoe of Bake For Happy Kids and Doreen of My Little Favourite DIY. The chosen theme for October 2015 is Coconut and I will be hosting it. Thanks to Zoe and Doreen for giving me this opportunity to host this event! Pls give us supports like you did for the August event and submit as many post as possible.

Coconut is one of my favourite, I like most food with coconut except the Nonya and Malay kuih which I am not the kuih person, although I still eat but I dun really very fond it a lot. But well when age catching up, seem to be more acceptance lol. I have been using coconut in my cooking and baking, so this is a good chance for me to use even more for October lol.

For the theme of coconut that can be used are anything out from the fruit of coconut, be it the coconut meat, the milk, the juice, the oil, even gula melaka/palm sugar or coconut sugar.

  4. Hi Jess,

Is coconut amino counted? E.g.: http://www.vitacost.com/coconut-secret-the-original-coconut-aminos-soy-free-seasoning-sauce - Ingredients: Organic coconut sap aged and blended with sun-dried, mineral-rich sea salt.

    Thanks.

  7. Hey, it was a very interesting post to read. I just loved it. At one of local venues in Chicago I just attended a food tasting event with my wife. There were so many cuisines and we tasted most of dishes. It was a great experience for us.
