One Proof Cheese and Sugar Milk Bread









Recipe modified from here

600g bread flour
100g sugar
6g salt
6g or 1.5tsp instant yeast
2 eggs
300g milk

60 butter


Method :
  1. Mix all the ingredients except butter knead until smooth dough.
  2. Add in butter, knead until reach window pane stage.
  3. Place the dough on a floured surface, divide to equal portions and roll into balls, set aside and rest for 10 mins,
  4. Shaped the dough and place in the greased baking pan.
  5. Spray with some water and let to proof until double in size, about 50-60 mins
  6. Brush some egg wash on top, then drizzle with a lot of cheese and coarse sugar
  7. Bake in 170C preheated oven until golden, about 15-20 mins.
  8. Remove from oven and place on the wire rack to cool down.
